- A sleeveless design can be worn on its own during the summer, though it’s also happy paired with a cardigan or shirt jacket.
- The detail along the bottom hem has a hint of pleating that is historically considered feminine, yet it is carefree and bold. Its repetition and movement allows it to be grounded, giving it visual strength. In other words, feminine is not weak. It is the backbone of humanity.
- Bold sweeping pockets are centered on both side seams so you can have anything at hand. Pockets were once not allowed in women’s clothing. NO MORE of that nonsense. These are big enough for carrying books. Women who can read were once considered dangerous, and there are hints of this sentiment creeping back into our culture. Big pockets are a symbol of resistance.

Fabric Options:
The Pippi designs are made with carefully selected weaves, all woven in the United States and Europe.
While it is gorgeous in a solid hued fabric, we also love it in a weave with stripes or plaid. It really plays up the collar, waistband, and book pockets.
Ensemble Suggestions:
It can be a stand alone piece, though we especially love it paired with the Pippi Shirt Jacket, Pippi Cropped Cardigan, Pippi Frock, and most of our other frocks in the collection. Be brave in your pairings. If you love it, go with it!
