Description

Five reasons to take the Path Coat less taken

1.) Easy fit for men and women. Wider armhole openings for easy movement.

2.) Long sleeves have a cuff band that allows you to easily roll up the sleeve for any length.

3.) One-of-a-kind rugged handmade rope and toggle buttons speak to the rugged and refined Ridge Road aesthetic.

4.) Black Soft and Rustic Weave, one hundred percent spun linen, is paired with our signature rugged stripe weave in the pockets. A great all-season weave.

5.) The coat features the embroidered Ridge Road logo. May wearing it always remind you to take delight in the path less traveled.

You have to wear clothing. Wear something that supports a meaningful cause and reminds you of the important things in life. A portion of all proceeds goes to saving animals’ lives through Animal Saints Rescue Society.

How to choose a size:

Fit is based on chest measurement for all genders. Simply find your chest measurement on the chart and choose the size. If you’re close to the upper range of the numbers, order a size up. Remember, this is a carefree shirt with some room in it. Always better to have more room than not enough.

Meaning in the buttons:

When buttons became in fashion in the 17th century, they were usually only worn by wealthy people. Buttons on women’s clothes were sewn so that their servants could fasten them. This is why buttons are on the opposite side of shirts than a man’s shirt.

So, why are the buttons on the same side of Ridge Road shirts and coats for men and women? Since most women dress themselves today, it makes sense for all buttons to be on the standard side for right-handed ladies and gents — especially for clothing that celebrates a can-do attitude and nostalgic work attire. We want Ridge Road garments to reflect self-sufficiency.
