Ridge Road Partners with Animal Saints Rescue Society

Ridge Road partnering with Animal Saints Rescue Society

The Ridge Road Collection by Ivey Abitz is inspired by Animal Saints Rescue Society. A portion of all proceeds goes to this official 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue founded by Cynthia Ivey Abitz, the artist who created the Ivey Abitz clothing collection.

Animal Saints’ mission is to reduce the burden on overcrowded animal control facilities. Dogs and cats are saved from euthanization. In addition to giving these animals a second chance, Animal Saints seeks to find them ideal homes.

The rescue’s focus is on helping Shih Tzu and other hair-not-fur breeds. Animal Saints operates a Shih Tzu Sanctuary (in a home, not kennels) to give the most ill and infirm saints time to recuperate, rest, and learn how to trust humans again.

Humans have bred these animal saints to be unfailing companions, yet humans have failed them through overbreeding and neglect. Animal Saints Rescue Society seeks to right this wrong.

Gilbert and Harry Ivey Abitz encourage you to have the time and patience to adopt a formerly neglected and abused Animal Saint. It will be one of the most rewarding things you’ve ever decided to do in your life!
