William Morris started the Arts and Crafts Movement where quality reigned and good design was paramount. Thank goodness for Morris.
- The evenly placed pleating is attached along a curved line in the main part of the skirt, embracing both the symmetry and the very purposefully graceful lines of the movement.
- Side pockets are in just the right place and are just the right size for the everyday indispensable items like cell phones, handkerchiefs, and keys.
- A dramatic a-line drape gives complete freedom and ease of movement in the skirting. It has a beautiful movement whilst walking with just the right amount of swing and flow.
- Available in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL.
Fabric
A plaid or stripe fabric is going to accentuate the important design details, like the side seam pockets and bottom hem. The Morris would be equally special in a solid hued weave. Its details would just be more subtle.
Ensemble Suggestions
The curved line that is just above the bottom hem pleating echoes the bottom hem of the following designs: Grasmere, Idyll, Inglenook, and Chittister.
