• Flat front/elastic back waist gives you such flexibility in fit and drape. It will fit many sizes as your body changes, even throughout a day. Be kind to yourself and wear clothing that does not make your stomach hurt from the skirt being too tight! Allow your clothing to expand and contract right along with you with a cleverly placed elastic back. You still have the flat, front drape whilst still having give through the waist.
• The embroidered black twill motif on the bottom hem of the skirt echos the square edges and precise placement of the Arts and Crafts movement. It also suggests the lines in a chaise lounge—a place of contemplation, relaxation, renewal.
