Meet Tilly Ivey Abitz. Tilly was adopted in January, 2022. She was dropped off at an animal control center with a three pound cancerous tumor hanging from her mammary glands. A rescue group in Kentucky took her into care moments before the emergency veterinarian was ready to euthanize her. The group had her spayed and tumor removed, then tried to find a home for her with little hope of finding one. We fell in love with her immediately and wanted to give her a home, no matter how much or how little time she had. Tilly reminds us that quality, not quantity, is what is truly important in this life.
