The neckline is spot on playfully put together. The v-shaped inset (V for Viv) sets the tone for the rest of the frock.
Wraparound side ties are a must unless you know you’ll always want to wear it relaxed with a straight silhouette. Wrap to the back, then front, and tie in place. Tie in the front or tie in the back. Fun options. This is what gives Viv its added kick.
Side seam pockets are extra sizable because Viv doesn’t carry a bag. These are a nod to her ways that will help the rest of us through everyday life.
Fabric options
Stripes and checked fabrics are our top recommendations. They really play up the v-shaped inset at neck, as well as the bottom hem band detail. Side seam pockets are bias cut, giving the frock some added visual interest. Solid hued weaves will give you a more subtle Viv, which is good with her, too.
Ensemble suggestions
Viv’s collar and bottom hem detail complements the Pierrepont collection. Viv used to live near Pierrepont, so it makes perfect sense that these collections complement one another.
