Get to know Sennen
In honour of coastal paths and seashore coves, the Sennen designs embrace the curves and cliffs of stunning seaside towns that make us feel so at home.
The shape of the Sennen is quite unique with its features of curved bold facing on the front and back of the frock. The neckline is similar to a boatneck but better with its bold external facing in our Estuary Wondrous Washed Linen. This facing, along with the curved bands along the bottom hem and around the pockets, represent the coastal paths that lead us to the most extraordinary seashores in the world.
The optional side ties are made in our Estuary Wondrous Washed Linen and are a bit wider than our diminutively narrow side ties. They are intentionally bolder to complement the featured bands on the front and back of the frock.
Subtle darting at the chest and gentle tailoring in at the waist creates a comfortable silhouette. The drape is relaxed and easy fitting. A slight a-line drape below the waist allows you to move easily and freely. The chest measurement is the most important area in terms of fit for our frocks.
Our new Sennen designs are only available in our stunning combination of National Seashore Washed Linen with its clever bands and facings created in our Cape Rose Washed Linen. This combination is sure to be a collector’s piece and one that can be enjoyed for decades to come. Each jacket is adorned with our rare vintage corozo anchor buttons.
The obvious pairing is with our new Sennen Jacket. Together, they make a smart and effortless ensemble that can be worn anyplace from the market to the office (whether it is in person or home via Zoom) to a walk through the park. The Sennen Frock can also be paired with jackets like the Addy, Anabel, Harrison, and Saint Ans. These designs have details in them that complement the curved band detail in the Sennen quite well.
