The Liberté collection celebrates the symbolism of the Statue of Liberty here in New York. It reminds us that we at Ivey Abitz are able to create clothing that celebrates our uniqueness because we live in a country that seeks to honour the ideals of liberty and independence. Back ties are encased in a band. They can be loose or tightened for a cinched look at the waist. The choice is yours.

Its bottom hem sits at the natural waist, giving you coverage through the bodice and on the arms.
Its v-shaped neckline and curved and pointed bottom hem echoes the details of the entire Liberté collection.

Fabric

Choosing our knits give you the feel and drape of a lightweight cardigan. Another brilliant option for our shorter jackets is to choose a heavier woolen weave. This allows you to wear spongier woolens during warmer days without it making you too warm with complete coverage, like in a longer duster coat.

Fabrics with stripes and ribbing in the weaves are ideal for the Hudson Jacket because they really play up the band detail and support them as the featured design detail. Solid hued fabrics are lovely, too. The design lends itself well to so many weaves.
