Description
Smart plaids transcend time. This one gives us so much for everyday life. It is an homage to the East River, as well as the Hudson River that runs by NYC and up into the state of New York.
It is lightweight and breezy yet opaque. It is just a bit thicker than a handkerchief linen. We have placed it through a special washing to bring out the texture in the plaid, making the weave slightly wavy instead of flat.
Best suited for layering frocks, playful shirts, and lightweight trousers.
Content
100 percent cotton. All season weave.
Care
Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls (just a few minutes is needed) to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book. You can easily change the drape and fit by spritzing the weave with water and reshaping the silk chiffon. It is very forgiving and wonderful.
