If you know anything about Ivey Abitz, you know that we love layering with rare cotton voiles. This one is stunning and ambiguous. Is it pink? Is it cream? Is it…sort of a light and muted brown? Yes, all of the above. The rose and cream threads are cross woven together, and the hues change based on what you pair with it and how it changes in the light. As with all of our cotton voiles, it is semi-transparent, lightweight, and ethereal. Wear on its own (with a lightweight Cilla Slip Frock) in the summer or layer with thicker woolens during autumn, winter, and spring. It is very sturdy, considering it is an exceptionally lightweight weave.
Content
100 percent cotton, woven by our favourite voile weavers, a family in India whom we have known for almost 20 years. All season weave.
Care
Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls (just a few minutes is needed) to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book. You can easily change the appearance by twisting the voile to give it more of a crushed effect, or simply smooth it out with your hands for a smoother look. It is very forgiving and wonderful.
