Fabric Description

Description

We love layering with voiles, especially in a hue so lovely. It is our version of the Woodlawn hue that gives us the most punch. It is bright and cheerful yet muted at the same time. It has an old world feel to it in that is uses threads with natural slubs in it. This gives the weave some variation. You can actually see thread differences when scanning the weave, and that is part of its alluring charm. We have put it through an additional washing process to enhance the softness and preshrink it. It is ideal for shirts, duster coats, and layering frocks. Semi-transparent and especially breathable, it is a good choice for layering in cooler seasons or on its own (with a slip) in warmer temperatures for the hottest summer days.

Content

Cotton and silk, woven in India. All season weave.

Care

Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book.
