Fabric Description
Description
Two Estuary hues and a soft white thread are cross-woven together to create this wonderfully wispy and lightweight layering cotton. If you would like to feature the various hues in this yarn dyed weave, choose a design with raw edges in it. It is featured in the Look Book in our Glenclyffe Shirt design. We have put it through an additional washing process to enhance the softness. It is ideal for lightweight layering frocks, shirts, sashes, and a selection of our duster coats. If you choose a design with buttons, we will use our vintage navy corozo buttons from Italy. Many of them have a symbolic anchor carved into them.Opaque and very breathable, it is a good choice for layering in cooler seasons or on its own in warmer temperatures for the hottest summer days. It is thicker than a cotton voile and lighter than a traditional broadcloth.
Content
100 percent cotton. All season weave.
Care
Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book. If you are the least bit concerned about any fabric weight or hue, order the fabric swatch portfolio so you can have them in hand whilst you decide. They will answer all of your questions!
