Fabric Description

Description

We LOVE linen, so much so that we love wearing it every day. We love how it softens with wear and ages so beautifully. We also know that with any handkerchief linens, even ones that are the highest quality like what we use, they can wear out if you wear them daily. This particular linen is different. It is woven to be worn often, and it has been given a 25,000 rub test before it begins to wear through. A sturdy linen indeed! At the same time, this is still considered an all season weave. The threads are more voluminous than our handkerchief linens, but it is still very breathable. Because of these traits, we have given it the title Wondrous Washed Linen. May you find it to be wondrous, too.Available in our Estuary (blue with a hint of grey), Anchor Grey (grey with a hint of white), and Chestnut Tree (brown with a hint of rustl and grey). We love them all and encourage you to mix and match them all together. We have put it through an additional washing process to enhance the softness. Because of its versatility, we think it is wonderful for most of our designs.Opaque and breathable, it is a good choice for layering in cooler seasons or on its own in warmer temperatures summer days up to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Content

100 percent linen, woven in Europe. All season weave.

Care

Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book. If you are the least bit concerned about any fabric weight or hue, order the fabric swatch portfolio so you can have them in hand whilst you decide. They will answer all of your questions!
