Fabric Description

Description

Painted puckery perfection. It inspires alliteration, but more importantly, it inspires us to smile. It is just downright delightful. It begins with soft white puckery weave that has a stretch in all directions. Then, if THAT weren’t enough to make us swoon, it is PAINTED with a contrasting Beacon Black hue. The result is a cross between a cool diner countertop from 1950 and a cross-hatched etching from Albrecht Durer, circa 1500. In other words, it transcends time, and this wearable work-of-art weave will be there for you for years to come.Because of its significant give, it will stretch wider and a bit longer than the size it is cut by up to a size. Keep in mind this is part of its charm and drape, and the sizing will be more approximate in this weave. Opaque and yet breathable, it is a good choice for layering in cooler seasons or a lightweight cardigan during the hottest summer days.

Content

100 percent all natural viscose with a hint of elasthane for its amazing puckery give. All season weave.

Care

Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book. For storage, keep folded on a shelf or in a drawer. Because of the puckery weave, it will tend to grow if left on a hanger over time.
