Here at Ivey Abitz, we like celebrating places and things that are not obvious and common. Looking further afield is usually where we find what we admire most in life.

Being carefree is visually celebrated in the pockets that hang free from the frock. The bottom hem “flaps” flow freely below the knee for added movement and freedom.

A dramatic a-line drape allows complete freedom of movement in this frock. So does the relaxed drape through the waist. If you’d like a more cinched-in silhouette, simply add a sash around the waist.

Fabric Options

Stripes, small plaids, and checked fabrics are our top recommendations. They really play up the “flaps” along the front bottom hem of the frock, as well as the bottom hem band detail.

Side seam pockets are bias cut, giving the frock some added visual interest. Solid hued weaves will give you a more subtle frock, which is good with her, too.

Ensemble Suggestions

Companion pieces are the Furtherafield Jacket, Eugenia Jacket, Vallonné Jacket, and all of our cardigans. Wear Pierrepont Breeches-Leggings underneath on warmer days. Choose low water length Pierreponts to feature the great buttons at the cuffs.
