Get to Know the Ans Jacket

• Our new Ans (pronounced Ahnz) and Saint Ans designs are in honour of the souls that come into our lives and give us unexpected joy, just when we need them most.
• Its waist features clever design details at the front, side seams, and back center that are also sash “loops.” These allow you to put the Saint Ans Sash, which comes with the jacket and is a huge bonus when ordering the jacket, through the loops to cinch the jacket in at the waist. The jacket’s length allows our frock’s skirtings to be featured and appreciated.
• If you prefer it with a straighter silhouette, simply remove the sash from the loops. It is detachable and can be enjoyed on its own with different Ivey Abitz designs. While the Saint Ans Sash is included with the Ans Jacket, it is also available separately in various weaves.

Fabric Options

The Ans Jacket drapes and feels like a cardigan with its proportions when you choose a knit. A selection of non-knit weaves are offered, too. We have featured it in both so you can see how versatile the design is in various weaves. They will feel and drape more like a jacket with a straighter silhouette. Cinch in at the waist with the sash, and it will create a gathering effect along the back that you can style to your liking.

Ensemble suggestions

It is obviously a lovely friend for the Saint Ans and Ans Frock, but it can be worn with all of our frocks. We especially like it paired with the following: Anabel, Bertie, Hudson, Inglenook, Scattergood, Thatched, and Tilbrook. These have rounded edges in their detailing that connects well to the curved collar of the Ans designs.
