Description
Get to know Trelawny:
- The raw edging on the Trelawny is created by bias cut binding that is sewn on the exterior of the garment. It is then carefully sliced open to create an exceptionally full, layered, and petal-like appearance. This detail is found on the bottom hem and neckline of the Trelawny.
- The vest has a lovely curve on the front and back of the bottom hem that echoes many other garments’ bottom hems in the Ivey Abitz collection.
- Raw edged darting at the waist creates vertical, textured lines on the front and back of the vest.
- Raw edged side ties are longer than most so you can wrap them to the back and then the front. If you’d prefer a straighter and looser drape, simply choose to not have the ties.
- If you plan to wear the vest under the duster coat, we recommend choosing the low water vest so the bottom hem peeks out from under the Trelawny Duster Coat.
- Sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL.
Fabric options:
Wools, cottons, and linens—especially yarn dyed linens with various colours of threads in the weave—are a wonderful choice for our Trelawny designs. They have fluffier threads and really lend themselves well to our intricate raw edged detailing.
Ensemble suggestions:
We suggest pairing the Trelawny Duster Coat with our Trelawny Frock, Blanchefleur Frock, or Ardsleydale Frock. It is excellent layered with our Trelawny Vest, Bonheur designs, and Pineryie designs, too.
This original Ivey Abitz design is made just for you in New York.
