Fabric Description
Description: Our new washed crinkled linens are a new Ivey Abitz client favourite! They are lightweight and more hard wearing than voiles, making them ideal for everything from hot summer days to layering in cooler months. This particular weave features a bold plaid that combines our Hudson Blue, Buoy Blue, Ship Sail White and Black hues. It is ideal for a selection of our layering frocks, sashes, skirts, shirts, and jackets. We especially recommend it for our designs that have bias cut detail in them, like the Chomley, Bartholomew, and Highlands designs. Please note that our crinkled linens have a significant give to them. They are not knits, but they relax whilst you wear them. It is not uncommon for a garment to have a give of a couple inches. Garment measurements are more approximate in our crinkled linen weaves because of it.
Content: 100 percent linen. Four season weave.
Care: Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls, just for a few minutes, to keep the relaxed effect that is featured in the Look Book. If the fabric relaxes whilst wearing it, wash in warm water and dry in high heat to tighten it back up.
