Fabric Description
Description: The texture! The drape! The softness! Sometimes, it is appropriate to use that many exclamation points to describe a fabric. It is lightweight, yet it is pretty nearly opaque. You’ll look at it and ask How on earth was this woven? It is magical. A mix of black and white, the two threads are interwoven together in the black stripes to create a soft contrast. It is an ideal choice for our base layering frocks, especially when a silk chiffon is worn over it. Short jackets and shirts look splendid in such a stripe, too.
Content: 100 percent linen.
Care: Simply hand wash or put through machine delicate cycle in cold water with a plant based detergent. We suggest using a natural fabric softener to maintain the softness we have washed into it. Tumble dry on extra-low heat with our artisan wool dryer balls just for a few minutes to keep the relaxed effect featured in the Midsummer 2019 Look Book.
