Celia Dress

Cynthia's grandmother, Celia Ivey, encouraged her to be a dreamer. The Celia designs are in honour of such encouragement in life.
  • The Celia Dress can be worn untied or tied, depending on your frame and desired look. It can also be worn completely unbuttoned like a duster jacket. Buttons end just above the knee to reveal layers of other frocks or trousers underneath (sold separately).
  • Unique pintuck groupings are just under the waistline and on each sleeve.
  • Raw edges on collar, bottom hem, and cuffs create a strong juxtaposition against the elegant gathers. These gathers represent the waves of the lake where Celia spent her happiest days.
  • A mix of vintage reproduction and authentic antique buttons or handmade fabric covered buttons are carefully selected for each Celia Dress. Buttons will vary based on your choice of fabric.
  • 3/4 length sleeve length complements any arm length.
