Each wool and cotton knit (depending upon the knit you choose) goes through a special dye process, including four dye baths, to create the ambiguous and rich tones of each Hope Cardigan. Once the cardigan has been made, it is washed in a special bath to impart the unique gathered raw edging. This creates an incredibly soft knit in the cotton version, and a slightly boiled and soft wool look in the classic wool knit version.
