  • our silk spun taffetas and silk velvets are really category 3 priced fabrics (the most expensive), but this winter we're offering them to you at lower category 1 prices. it's a thank you that we hope will keep you luxuriously warm through the winter. 
  • silk velvet is a staple fabric for the ivey abitz winter & holiday collection.
  • velvet should not be exclusively worn for holiday events.  while it can be worn for special occasions, it should be considered an everyday fabric.  cleverly mix it with linen, wool, and even denim for daily enjoyment.
